Can’t-Miss Negronis: East Coast Edition

Yes, all 3,000+ of our participating bars can mix up a mean classic Negroni. No question. But, countless bartenders take Negroni Week as an opportunity to let their imaginations run wild, and YOU are the fortunate beneficiary of their creative genius. After a long day, you probably don’t want to rush home and spend hours infusing and tincturing. Plus, Negroni Week is all about getting OUT and having a drink for a cause. So, to get you excited for your upcoming Negroni Week adventures, here’s a sampling of some of the creative Negroni Week cocktails being served up this week on the EAST COAST. Negroni Carbonato (pictured)
From Xavier Herit at Wallflower, NYC
Campari, Byrrh, Cynar, Verjus, lemon sorbet, cava and orange bitters, all combined and carbonated in the bottle.

The Improved Kingston Negroni
From Sother Teague at Amor Y Amargo, NYC
Aged rum, overproof rum, Zucca amaro, Carpano Antica and Bittermen’s tiki bitters, served over ice with an orange twist.

Sipsmith Sloe-groni
From The Gander, NYC
Navy strength gin, sloe Gin, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino and Campari.

Bitter Barrel Negroni
From Bob Vanlancker, Founding Farmers, Washington, DC
Equal parts barrel-ged gin, Carpano Antica, Campari and Aperol, served up in a Nick & Nora glass.

Tramonto di Primavera (Spring Sunset)
From Jessica Botta, Fiola, Washington, DC
Lavender-infused Beefeater gin, Aperol and Lillet Blanc garnished with fresh flowers.

The Milancho Negroni
From Bodega in Miami, FL
A frozen Negroni riff with Milagro silver tequila, Ancho Reyes, Campari and sweet vermouth.
Charity: Children’s Bereavement Center

Negroni Spaggia
From Casa Nonna, NYC
Equal parts Flor de Cana rum, Campari and Carpano Antica with a bit of Espirit de June. Served up with an orange twist.
Charity: Visiting Neighbors

Solleone (A Negroni Slushie)
From Osteria, Philadephia, PA 
Campari-vermouth bianco are mixed with water and a bit of simple syrup and churned into a slushy. The slushy is then served in a cocktail glass, and gin is poured over top right before serving.
